Completed in 1982 and located on Willamette Street, the Hult Center boasts a number of different venues such as the grand Silva Concert Hall with a capacity of more than 2,400 seats, the almost 500-seat Soreng Theater, an intimate 200-seat room referred to as The Studio, and the Jacobs Community Room. The complex also comprises an amphitheater in the nearby Alton Baker Park with a capacity of 5,000 people and is perceived as an extension of the center.

As one of the anchors in downtown Eugene's urban core, the Hult Center is within easy walking distance to local shopping, dining, arts, and other activities. Numerous performing arts organizations call the Hult Center home, such as those that host Broadway-type shows.
